Put est-ce que in front of the statement
Est-ce que (literally “is it that”) is a fixed question marker. You put it in front of a plain statement and the word order behind it stays the same. English uses do/does or swaps words (Do you speak French?); French just adds the marker. The question is neutral: it fits a chat as well as an email.

Before a vowel: est-ce qu’
When the next word starts with a vowel (il, elle, on, ils, elles …), the e of que drops and an apostrophe takes its place: que becomes qu’. This is called elision. Not Est-ce que il vient ?, but Est-ce qu’il vient ?
