Like -ar, but with e
An -er verb works exactly like an -ar verb: the infinitive without -er gives the stem, then you attach the ending for the person. The only difference is the vowel in the endings: e where -ar has a.

Only the yo-form is the same in both groups (-o). In every other person, -er has an e where -ar has an a.
