È l’una. Jonas arriva a Bellagio.

It is one o'clock. Jonas arrives in Bellagio.

Il battello per Como parte alle sette.

The boat to Como leaves at seven.

La sera, Jonas corre al porto. «Scusi, che ore sono?»

That evening, Jonas runs to the harbour. "Excuse me, what time is it?"

«Sono le sette e cinque.»

"It is five past seven."

«No! Il battello non c’è più?»

"No! Has the boat gone already?"

«Tranquillo, è ancora qui.»

"Relax, it is still here."

«Il capitano mangia un gelato.»

"The captain is eating an ice cream."

Ask the time with Che ore sono?

È l’una. Sono le sette.

It is one o'clock. It is seven o'clock.
