Ahorita in Mexico City
Lisa is waiting for a bus to the Frida Kahlo Museum.

Lisa is waiting for the bus. She asks a man:
—Perdón, ¿cuándo llega el autobús?
"Excuse me, when does the bus arrive?"
—Ahorita, señorita. Siéntese un poquito.
"Very soon, miss. Sit down for a bit."
Lisa espera diez minutos. Veinte minutos. Media hora.
Lisa waits ten minutes. Twenty minutes. Half an hour.
—¿Un cafecito?
"A little coffee?"
—Sí, gracias. Pero… ¿y el autobús?
"Yes, thank you. But... what about the bus?"
Una hora después, llega un autobús. Lisa se levanta.
An hour later, a bus arrives. Lisa stands up.
—Ese no es. El suyo llega… ¡ahorita!
"That is not yours. Yours will arrive... very soon!"
-ito and -ita can make a word smaller or friendlier.
Un cafecito. Un poquito.
A little coffee. A little bit.
