Llega un grupo.

A group arrives.

—Hola, ¿hay sitio? ¿De dónde eres?

"Hi, is there room? Where are you from?"

—Soy de Londres. Estoy aquí de vacaciones.

"I am from London. I am here on holiday."

Un chico sonríe:

A young man smiles.

—¡Yo también soy de Londres!

"I am from London too!"

—¡Genial! ¿Hablamos inglés?

"Great! Shall we speak English?"

—No, no. Aquí hablamos español. ¿Juegas a las cartas con nosotros?

"No, no. Here we speak Spanish. Will you play cards with us?"

Use ser for origin and estar for being on holiday.

Soy de Londres. Estoy de vacaciones.

I am from London. I am on holiday.

Watch out

Soy aburrida means "I am boring". Estoy aburrida means "I am bored".
