Tom está de vacaciones en Málaga. Tiene la espalda muy roja. Va al médico.

Tom is on holiday in Málaga. His back is very red. He goes to the doctor.

—Hola. Me duele la espalda. Y me duelen los hombros.

"Hello. My back hurts. And my shoulders hurt."

La doctora mira y sonríe:

The doctor looks and smiles.

—Es el sol. ¿Cuántas horas estás en la playa?

"It is the sun. How many hours are you on the beach?"

—Pues… todo el día.

"Well... all day."

—Necesitas crema, agua y sombra. Y de dos a cinco, nada de sol.

"You need sunscreen, water and shade. And no sun from two to five."

—¿Y qué hago de dos a cinco?

"And what do I do from two to five?"

—La siesta.

"Have a siesta."

With doler, the body part controls the verb.

Me duele la espalda. Me duelen los hombros.

My back hurts. My shoulders hurt.
