Lukas has just started his first job in a Spanish office.

One Friday in July, Lukas received an email from his boss.
«Cuando puedas, échale un vistazo al informe. No corre prisa».
"When you can, have a look at the report. There is no rush."
Como no quería quedar mal, se pasó el fin de semana trabajando.
He did not want to make a bad impression, so he worked all weekend.
—Lukas, ¿me mandaste el informe el domingo a las tres de la mañana?
"Lukas, did you send me the report at three in the morning on Sunday?"
—Pensé que lo de «no corre prisa» era por cortesía.
"I thought 'there is no rush' was just politeness."
—Si hubiera sido urgente, te habría llamado.
"If it had been urgent, I would have called you."
—Aquí «cuando puedas» significa «a la vuelta del verano».
"Here, 'when you can' means 'after the summer'."
Future event after cuando? Use the subjunctive.
