Paula bumped into Nacho in a city-centre square. They had not seen each other for months.

"Great to see you! We should meet up one of these days, eh?"

Paula took everything literally and pulled out her diary at once.

—¡Genial!

"Great! Does Thursday at seven work for you?"

Nacho went pale, as if she had asked him for a kidney.

—Uy, el jueves… Bueno, ya si eso te digo algo.

"Oh, Thursday... Well, I will let you know, maybe."

Ya si eso can sound noncommittal.

Ya si eso te digo algo.

I will let you know, maybe. There is no firm plan.

Context matters

A ver si quedamos can be vague. Ask for a day and time.
