Anna has invited her new team over for dinner.

Anna had invited the whole team to dinner. At the agreed time, the table was set.
Une demi‑heure plus tard, toujours personne. Elle craignait qu’on lui ait posé un lapin.
Half an hour later, still nobody. She feared they had stood her up.
Bien qu’elle ait une faim de loup, elle n’a pas touché au gratin.
Although she was starving, she didn’t touch the gratin.
Trois quarts d’heure plus tard, on a enfin sonné. Toute l’équipe était là, une bouteille à la main :
